Erm.
I'm pretty sure you'll find that CPU you've linked is 2 Jaguar cores, running slower clocks than either of the consoles.
So Erm... Your calculation is massively off.
Which makes Th0nt's comment absolutely hilarious (MMJ also owned an FX83 before you, and Humbug, so lol's there)
It's AMD's current crop of tablet architecture (Even though it's gone nowhere in that market)
Who needs facts when you can pretend everyone else is biased?
As usual you have yourself so worked up over me (LOL) the point has gone completely over your head.
I could almost do this on purpose for entertainment. you really bite Martini, you really do.
What you said was factually wrong (Like drastically, completely and utterly wrong)
I don't get this stance. When you're caught out on, try and kneecap the opponent?
Are you doing this on purpose?
You linked to the Sempy and said the 8 core in the consoles is barely at the same performance as said CPU.
The reality however is that the consoles are between like 5 and 6 times more powerful than specified CPU.
Well, if the clock speeds were the same, 8 cores is 4 times more than 2.
And since the clock speeds aren't the same (Said Sempy being lower clocked), it goes into the realms of between 5 and 6 times more powerful.
I don't know why you're still trying to spin. You're just making yourself look silly.
I'm not talking about the API's. I literally took out an extract of your post (Hence quote) and have shown you were wrong. But you've done what you always do and being weird again.
We are talking about API's and threading, we are not talking about what architecture the Athlon CPU is, at what point did you get so lost?
Yeah, I'm done now.
You're truly something else Humbug.
Couldn't argue your way out of a paper bag. You've probably outdone yourself tonight.
Not really regretting getting an FX8320 last year. It's clocked to 4.5 and for me @ 1080p ... it runs very nicely. The world looks stunning and for what I spent I'm very happy
I am very aware that had I spent more on an i5 I would get a bit more performance in games and any media editing but I didn't have the budget. Intel i5/i7 in most applications is the better choice but AMD certainly isn't 'garbage' as someone put it.
