GTA5 CPU Benchmarks (I3 beats FX yet again)

Erm.
I'm pretty sure you'll find that CPU you've linked is 2 Jaguar cores, running slower clocks than either of the consoles.

So Erm... Your calculation is massively off.

Which makes Th0nt's comment absolutely hilarious (MMJ also owned an FX83 before you, and Humbug, so lol's there)

It's AMD's current crop of tablet architecture (Even though it's gone nowhere in that market)

Who needs facts when you can pretend everyone else is biased?

As usual you have yourself so worked up over me (LOL) the point has gone completely over your head.

I could almost do this on purpose for entertainment. you really bite Martini, you really do.

What you said was factually wrong (Like drastically, completely and utterly wrong)
I don't get this stance. When you're caught out on, try and kneecap the opponent?

Although that's not really biting, that's just showing again, that you don't know as much as you pretend to do.

You mean you really don't get it?

mmj_uk thinks, or perhaps now thought the performance on those Consoles was crap because the API's are crap.

Of course its not the API's, the CPU in those Consoles is utter junk, thats why the performance is crap.

There i am pointing that out are you're going hysterics over CPU architecture comparisons?

Its like something out of Monty Python, its such an over reaction of something that isn't even the point.

Your just a huge LOL.

Are you doing this on purpose?

You linked to the Sempy and said the 8 core in the consoles is barely at the same performance as said CPU.

The reality however is that the consoles are between like 5 and 6 times more powerful than specified CPU.

I do love how you're trying to spin this Humbug though, or you're that clueless.... I don't know which is the worst scenario.

Oh i wish i could take credit for your reaction.

5 or 6 times? lol you are full of extremes tonight.

The console ones are more powerful, because they have more cores and games use them on Consoles, one of my points made for me, thank you.

Never the less they are all REALLY crap, its nothing to do with the API's. < the point you're still not getting.

Well, if the clock speeds were the same, 8 cores is 4 times more than 2.
And since the clock speeds aren't the same (Said Sempy being lower clocked), it goes into the realms of between 5 and 6 times more powerful.

I don't know why you're still trying to spin. You're just making yourself look silly.

I'm not talking about the API's. I literally took out an extract of your post (Hence quote) and have shown you were wrong. But you've done what you always do and being weird again.

We are talking about API's and threading, we are not talking about what architecture the Athlon CPU is, at what point did you get so lost?

Yeah, I'm done now.

You're truly something else Humbug.
Couldn't argue your way out of a paper bag. You've probably outdone yourself tonight.

Everyone loves a good pointless late night argument.

Not really regretting getting an FX8320 last year. It's clocked to 4.5 and for me @ 1080p paired with a PCS+ 290 (recently upgraded from a 270X) it runs very nicely. The settings are about 40/60 high/very high (2/3 advanced settings also on) and it gets anywhere between 35-60fps depending on where I am on the map and what time of day it is (had to put VSYNC on as I was getting annoyed with the tearing). The world looks stunning and for what I spent I'm very happy :)

I am very aware that had I spent more on an i5 I would get a bit more performance in games and any media editing but I didn't have the budget. Intel i5/i7 in most applications is the better choice but AMD certainly isn't 'garbage' as someone put it.

If you have the dollah then Intel will be better, no doubt. I will probably save a bit more next time I upgrade and might go Intel, but have to see what AMD come up with next year and beyond.

Thanks for the post captain!

Not quite sure on the media statement but otherwise fine! :)
