if i buy retail gtr evo (inc race 07) can i whack it on steam?

Steam retail key info page says it accepts the keys, just wanting confirmation :P

So can I attach it like ut3 etc and dl from steam?

Did the same myself, retail version actually comes with 2 games- Steam version and offline version which can be installed independently.

ooo good to know :)

Picking up a g25 for cheap so should be a laugh.

Any more games you can recommend for using with g25?

For me, I find that rFactor is great if you want a certain type of racing, the problem comes when you try to play online and you realise there are a million combinations of tracks and cars.

I would STRONGLY recommend joining a racing league.

It may seem odd but I joined Racedepartment when I got into GTR Evo and racing in a league with other noobs increased the enjoyment of the game immensly.

New sealed rFactor Special editions going for fiver on a auction site near you :) Got a wheel coming myself, till then struggling through GTREvo with a 360 controller.

Do you still race at-all as I see your account but it looks a bit inactive...

It's definitely worth signing up to RD as the club events are much better that public server races, and also much more varied in terms of tracks and the cars that get used - last night I had a pretty close race with a real WTCC driver who has recently joined :D

I have rFactor but it feels like a lot of effort to me - it's less of a polished game (although evo has plenty of bugs) and more of a "thing" that you race with, which I think mainly comes down to the user interface.

I also play GTL occasionally. :)
