I have just recieved all my bits today to play sound through my GTX cards in sli and have bought me a dvi to hdmi adapter to do all this. Now this is the big stupid question I should have asked ages ago, I have XFX GTX 275's in sli, will they be ok powering the visuals on my 50" plasma screen in my living room?

Rroff if you read this you seem to be the man with all the answers buddy!! Oh yea whats vram??

Well what a waste of time getting all these new leads ( spdif hdmi to dvi connectors ) my plasma is bloody useless. Granted she is a few years old now like but the resolution it offers up is terrible. To get everything on the screen just neat and tidy the res was something like 1176 x 664. It looked terrible but being someone who wanted to give it a shot I stuck crysis on and it played in the top left hand corner of the screen. Tried to adjust the window and no joy. Went into graphics settings to adjust the game res there and whilst I could do that I couldnt get the changes to apply because the mouse cursor wouldnt highlight the button to apply the changes. So im a very unhappy little camper. Any guys out there with any ideas solutions to my problems, many thanks, Chris

Add your 50" plasma native resolution into the nvidia control panel

(As you can add custom resolutions ;))

What the make & model number of your 50" plasma ??

Lol I know about tab and return!! They wouldnt work, which I found really strange.

Anyways the plasma is a 50" Samsung model no PS-50Q7HD and its native resolution is 1360 x 768 60 hz in wxga mode whatever that means?? Is that resolution any good?? especially on a 50" tv?

This is what im thinking!! I use a little 20" sammy monitor now and the resolution on this better at 1600 x 900!! I was expecting much more form my front room tv. Im just wondering if its because its old maybe? The thing is it plays my 360 perfectly on it using the component cable. Any help out there?

One more thing, when I actually plugged it all in nvidia control panel did say the native res was 1900 x 1200 but the screen was huge and icons were missing off both sides and tops and bottom of the screen
