GTX 480 Sli + Cpu loop

I have a single 480 in a seaprate loop (DDC18W & PA120.2) and it kicks out loads of heat. I'm planning to upgrade to a second 480 for which I will swap my CPU loop (PA120.3 & DDC18W) for the GPU loop. As RJ said, I would suggest a PA120.3 for your 480SLI loop.

Cheers for the input all. I'm even more confused now :o lots to think about. It's an expensive game this water cooling business. The pricing on the pumps is especially ridiculous.

I have gtx 480 sliwith a 2600k at 4.7

My loop has a 360+120 and temps are good. You could get away with a 360 but you are going to need better fans or run the faster. If you can fit the 120 in i would go for it.

Ill do a few benches later and show you my temps if i get time

R2E full cover with mosfet blocks too
990X @ 5GHz Swiftech GTZ
2 X Gainward GTX 480 overclocked under EK Nickel Plexi
single 120mm triple RAD
Laing d5 Bitspower Mod
Bitspower res.

handles it np - peak load temp on crysis around 68 - 75 depending on ambient

all controlled with an aquaero 5

Rad is a black ice

fans are "adda" but are best balance I found between noise and airflow. Its very quiet. Obviously on big bench runs, a click of the Aquaero profile selector smacks everything up to the max

Landg D5 is set to "3" by the way.

Looks great man, really tidy and impressed by your results. I ordered my 480 blocks last week but it might be a few months before I have the cash to put the rest together :( I'm thinking down a similar route. 360 in the top and a 120-240 if I have the pennies :o
