Hi,

I have just build my new rig and everything is working great, only my GPU's get really hot under full load!(benchmark or games like the witcher 2 with uber on) around 95 degrees!

Rest of my system stays really cool.

I already have 3 fans (bottom) blowing cool air in and 2 fans hot air out (on top)

When i compare some of my results from benchmarks like heaven (score 2361) with similar systems, i'm not doing too bad, just the temps.

One time while playing Battlefield bad company 2 my pc just rebooted without any warning! (just happened once)

Any ideas?

Specs :

Antec 300 CASE
ASUS P8P67 PRO
I7 2600K with Corsair H50 cooling
Gainward GTX 570 GS "Goes Like Hell" 800/2000 (stock) in SLI (280.26)
16 GB DDRIII Corsair Vengeance 1600

I assume you have left a spare PCI-E slot between the two cards to allow some airflow for the upper card? Have you tried to add a fan on the side panel of Antec 300 to blow fresh air onto the graphics cards?

Which card got overheating issue? Is it just the upper card reaching 95C (and 97C for shutdown)? Have you tried to swap these two cards to eliminate the possibility of poorly installed TIM?

I have a Antec 300 case. Great case.

So you have 3 120mm extra fans, 1 on the side, and 2 at the front ??

I take it your GTX570s are the dual fans, not the reference design ??

The reboot thing sounds to me like your GPUs got to hot and shut down, hence the PC shut down, 95 degress is a concern for me, what % were the fans running ??

Do you use MSI afterburner to monitor temps etc It may be an idea to set up a profile that will increase the fan speed via afterburner.

Thanks for the response.

My cards have the dual fans and my case indeed has 2 fans in the front and one on the side.

There is enough space between the cards, it is the second card that gets too hot.
My GPU fans were running only at 70% under full load.
I have changed the fan profile with MSI Afterburner and now both my cards stay around 86-87° (with case fans running at 80%)

I think that's a safe temperature?

Thanks a lot. :)
