GTX 590.

i think its stated on the page if they are rev 1 or 2
it may even state " unlockable "
its the rev 1 your after
i know the uber nice twin frozr's dont unlock

the GPU overheated in my laptop and destroyed the whole thing, it was a faulty chip design, still bitter, it wasnt cheap! it was a combination of a chip not fit for purpose and to a lesser extent the laptop not having sufficient cooling

i said id never buy nvidia again

and say i got these opposed to a gtx 590 i know you dont know the specs but just a guess reakon they would match up to one or an ati 6990 .

but 6990 from what little we do know, i reckon your not going to be far behind at all

do you reakon 2 6970's in crossfire would beat an gtx 590 ?

a guess.....NO, but for that "NO" will be a daftly insaine price tag, and it will not be worth it for the difference as it will only be by a little...is my guess

if you want pure power you would want 2x 580GTX, But at a crazy price.

the 590GTX wont be dual 580GTX as if it was it would be 400w card and be MORE expensive then 2x 580GTX lol
 
lol really? is 590 going to be more expensive then 2x580gtx? I would go for 2x580GTX even without knowing how well GTX590 performs.... I can't imagine how can it be better than 2x580.

BTW I like your tak leinad amme "soon to be ati 6990 or GTX590" :D

what i could do is buy 1 580 now and buy another in a couple weeks when i get paid if i do this do you reakon it would beat a 590 then from your post it seems it will because the 590 will be underclocked ?

haha that tag may change i've always been dual gpu's but im seriously thinking about crossfireing 2 580s now :D
 
you are power crazy aren't you
why not buy a 580, wait for 590 if 590 beats 6990, buy 590, sell the 465, and use 580 as physx ? ?
that way you have all the nvidia power one could ever wish for

or

buy 2 x 6950 for £400 or less have nice time till next gen, then plough all your money info something that is set to be a huge jump in performance from what is available now, ?

yes You can if you want pure power.

IF and thats a BIG IF the 590GTX is actually 2x 580GTX on the same card it will be massivly underclocked and most likely locked from going over a limit due to power limits, I very much doupt they would use 2x 580GTX as they are allready a very expensive core to make and sell on there own.

selling two on the same ard will hit them hard and they would make a loss.

then its decided then 2 x 580s it is :D and to be hounest the biggest reason to get a single dual gpu is so you can buy another one for the extra slots i guess but i won't be doing that :P meybeh :P
