I just did the same. I googled the SC 3gb and they have DP's. I think it's a typo as it would cost them to remove DP''s.


Does any know what 26 mhz difference in fps? the difference between a Classi and SC?

that's just the core clocked a little more..but the classi has higher memory clocks too...also dual bios!!!...not sure if memory chip are different with both version...maybe someone who owns these would know more?

I have gotten 7000 on the mems but tbh I leave it at stock. Fast enough. On DS3 I have seen it drop to 27fps but didn't notice any difference. On BF3 i took AA off and just HBAO didn't see a diiference. Maybe I'm losing my sight lol.

So stock for stock difference only when OC?

Reason I'm asking is I might go 4k. Not bothered about max settings just playable. Thinking around xmas.

Looks like the 780 6gb are priced at the same as the 780 classified (€550) on the evga website. That's about £470.
