There is so much conflicting information online with regards to my question; I've decided to come to a community I trust for an answer!

I have just bought a 40" 4K TV and I plan to use my computer to output a 4k signal to it, for watching 4k Youtube and twitch.

I know that the HDMI port on my graphics card is only v1.4 so I cannot do 4k60.

My question is if I use DP to HDMI what are the chances of getting 4K60?, as a lot of information says it will only do 30hz.

And to get around this problem the only adapter I have come across is going to set me back £55 with no current delivery date. (http://bit.ly/1YUjnvn)

Cheers,
Richard
