Gtx 980ti sli or pascal

I think 980 Ti 3-way SLI would be a good choice, funds permitting.

I wouldn't bother waiting around for pascal. Just get a 980ti with an aftermarket cooler. Skip the standard or first generation of pascals. If the improvements over 980ti are worthwhile, then sell your 980ti for one with an aftermarket cooler. I can understand the wait if it was a couple of months away, but not if you have to wait at least another 6 months for it.
 
get one first, if it's not enough get another.. read into SLI know what you're going to be dealing with first and remember not all games have a profile (although we can make our own ;) )
 
Not sure about two G1 windforce"s in SLI let alone 3 due to heat. I know the original post does not have any yet. So he should not have this problem. For the rest of us with G1 windforce"s if at some point going SLI im thinking one of the hybrid to go in slot one and relegate the G1 to slot two underneath where it wont be effected by temps so much.
