gtx titan

hi I inserted gtx titan in a hp xw6600 and running crisis 3 at max and still getting lags. I called up evga and they said you need a better cpu likes 850w. im currently running 650w psu. and the requirements for gtx titan is 600watts .should I get a new psu

Could you run the Heaven 4 benchmark maxed out @1080p please and post the score. This will tell us if the Titan is running ok.

As the other guys have said Crysis 3 really does work the CPU.

Sure i can do that.but i wont as there are too many bullies on this forum so il just close this post and leave.

This thread has not gone as planned and nor do i know how to close this thread, this is a disaster.have fun!

I offered to help you as I know how a Titan performs on your setup.

All you have done is prove the people (you are calling bullies) were right.

Can never quite tell if trolling after hearing genuine stories of people buying a 3960X and assuming a HSF is not needed as it isn't supplied with one and ending up damaging both CPU and mobo...

I dont think anyone is being a bully, more dumbfounded that you've snapped up an £800 gpu to run along side very old very weak components AND you want to watercool it all.

To put this bluntly, you obviously have a healthy budget, as titans and especially water cooling doesnt come cheap, decide on a budget, head over to the genral hardware forum and ask those kind gents to spec you a decent i7 setup and work from there.

Enjoy your stay and don't take everything to heart, brush it off but actually take note of what some are saying, this forum has an absolute wealth of experience.
