GTX260 virtual memory Windows 7

I've just been having a play with Piriform's new product: Speccy. Seems really good so far.

Just noticed that my graphic card has 2688MB virtual memory assigned as well as it's 896MB. I've not seen this before in Everest or any other 'spec' program.

Is Speccy reporting it incorrectly, or is it normal?

DXDiag tells me that my card has 3820MB of memory.. I've always thought that this was normal personally..

Ah yes, looking at DXDiag now, mine's just over 4GB

Never noticed it before myself

On my system my GTX 260 has 3694MB according to DxDiag.

Forget the DX-Diag, look in Performance and Information Tools under your Vista Experience Score.







So if needed it will take 1791MB of my 4096MB (4GB) of System Memory and add it to the 768MB of GPU Memory to give it a total of 2559MB GPU Memory.
