gtx480 doesn't down clocks in refresh at 120 Hz

As above, my GTX480 droping GPU to 405 MHz only when 120 Hz is set up in my monitor.At 110 Hz everything is ok -any ideas how to drop them down?

Running at 405mhz is correct when using 120hz,i thought i had a problem also but its normal.

If the card downclocked to 50HZ when using 120hz there would be problems ie: screen flickering.

Yea same here its normal. I have my desktop set at 60hz as I can't tell the difference when just browsing etc. Only use 120hz while gaming.

erm.. eh?
i use 120hz screen @ 120hz all the time with np

my temps are : 35 Idle and 55-60 C full Load - but card is under water.

That's normal as if it was lower the card wouldn't be able to support 120hz without flicker
