gtx580 display driver stopped working but has recovered???

Iv searched lots of forum's for an answer to this problem.
The thing is it only happens on my system when i boot up.
So once i logg on the screen freezes and 5 seconds later its fine but says the driver stopped working but has recovered...

It never does it any other time, only each and every time i boot up.

So even though its not causing a big problem im still worried that something might be up with my system as this shouldnt be happening.

So any help would be appreciated.

reinstall driver see if that fixes it never had that problem before on boot but when i have incontered that it was when i was pushing overclock to high on card

I had this too with my 680GTX and disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox fixed it for me.

Try this thread also, where I got the aforementioned tip. A few other things you can try if the Firefox thing doesn't work.

Thankyou doppleganger !!!
I disabled the firefox hardware acceleration and then following the instructions on that link.
And now no error message
So it turns out it was something to do with a high definition audio thing or something :S lol

When i think about it, the problem did start to occur around the time i got a new soundcard so maybe it was that

Anyway all fixed now thanks again.
