GTX960 has 256 bit memory controller and 4GB of GDDR5??

I wouldn't of expected it to have less than a 256bit bus, but saying that I suppose it could have had 192bit with 3GB ram.

Either way nice find.

So...it'll basically give the same performance as a 770.

Personally I reckon it will be between the 780 and 770.

looking at the Anandtech's GPU bench the 980 seems to be about 10% faster than the 780ti, with the 970 about 5% slower then the 780ti but still over 10% faster than the 780. So if the 960 is roughly the same distance from the 970 as the 970 is from the 980 then it would be just slower than the 780, but a good bit faster than the 770. If that makes any sense at all. :)

Not quite sure where you get the idea that the 960 is anything to do with the 680s, it would be like saying the 285 is just a rebadged 7950, which of course it isn't as it is a completely new revision of AMD's chip architecture.

Joke.

When was the last time Nvidia had VRAM parity across the top 3 SKU-areas?

It would be weird if this came out before Titan II or 980 8GB/ti/etc.
