The Guardian's opinion pieces tend to be a total joke but its investigative journalism is generally of a high standard IMO.

Exactly. Anyone who reads any news publication needs to understand that there will be a level of editorial bias somewhere along the line. It's about separating the wheat from the chaff.

Dictating to people which news publication they should read is one step removed from dictating what thoughts they should think.

This place is full of little Hitler types in places, and this is not a "conservative forum" :p

It's only just to right of BuzzFeed and Vice according to that graph. That's wildly off

For the opinion pieces, yeah. If you ignore those and also all the gender/identity politics stories then their actual news coverage is really good. It's certainly a cut above the tabloids in terms of reporting facts with minimal spin applied.

Christ, that's only 5% of its stories if you exclude all of those!

I jest, I still scan the Guardian to get a range of news stories. I can easily ignore all the SJW puff pieces. the independent however has gone completely wibble. Nearly every story is a "maybe, possibly, could be" piece.
