Guess what's waiting for me at home?

A brand new Macbook.

I purchased it yesterday from the Apple Store on Regent Street to replace my second hand iBook G4 workhorse of the past couple of years.

I got home and had a load to do so I haven't even untied the drawstring on the beautiful silvery apple embossed bag - It's there, on top of my wardrobe, silently waiting for me to come home and play with it.

The excitement is too much to bare, is this right? lol. Make no mistake, I have a wonderful girlfriend but, seriously, this is the most intensely anticipated evening ever that doesn't involve her [she's away at the moment in Switzerland for the past week+next 3 weeks].

I'm out of the office doors bang on 17:30 and it takes me max 25 mins to get home, today I think i'll be running - I can't wait to get home and play!!!

I'm gonna video the big moment and put it up on YouTube.
 
I was excited too when I ordered mine, couldn't wait to unbox it and start using it, not only was it may first mac but it was my first laptop/notebook as I've owned desktops all my life (and still do). My excitement was cut short though when I discovered it suffered from a really strange fault that caused anything using the 3D hardware to stutter such as HD video playback and 3D games, CineBench proved the fault because I could run 2 iterations after a cold boot and then the third would run at 1fps and stutter really badly. Apple were great though and collected it for free and sent me a brand new replacement so I got to live the excitement a second time.
