Guest Hack?

Hi all

I just logged in to my wireless netgear router and saw a guest connection in the attached devices option. I thought nothing of it at first and then decided to get every mac address of my home network and name them to tell later on if a new device is not ours. All home devices say network etc but the one I'm talking about said guest? There is a guest network set-up although only my nephew knows the password and he lives about a mile away.

Is this a hack or is my router somehow giving false information.

Which netgear router?
What security are you running? WPA2?
Do you have WiFi protected setup enbled? Turn it off if you do.

Can you post some screenshots of what you mean?

Change the guest WiFi password.

Update to latest firmware.

Change admin password.
Change SSIDs/passwords.
Use WPA2, disable WPS.
