I doubt it. It wont be any better than the in game elite skills because the community would rage if paid for bonuses were overpowered. Also:

- Human characters that choose Balthazar get an elite skill to summon hell hounds

- Elementalists can summon Ice Golems

- Asura will have an elite mechanical golem skill (I think its a golem that they 'ride' and it replaces their skill bar from what the preview videos show, kill the Golem and the Asura pops out kind of thing).

- Engineers will have turret summons

- Mesmers summon phantasms

- Necros summon minions

So simply giving pre orders an elite wolf skill isnt going to be hugely useful, just an extra unique thing.

Its easy, the HoM calculator gives you a 'check list' of things to do, then while playing the game you work towards those objectives. Its no different to playing a game and unlocking Steam accomplishments. Mini pets was simplified with 15 character slots (I bought loads extra back when we only had 4 slots during prophecies), fellowship monument is the easiest to fill - hero armour upgrades are easy to get for free. Valor was simplified with 6 PVE characters completing WiK and then farming the daily repeatables for a full set of oppressor weapons (I dual accounted two completions at the same time with my character on my other account leeching, as well as running my second account through two campaigns). Resilience is just a platinum sink, and for honour, I already had legendary cartographer, skill hunter, guardian and protector all done before EoTN even came out, then I slowly did vanquishers, used the titles that dont need to be maxed (rank 2 lucky + unlucky, rank 5 kurzick + luxon), plus completing every elite area just once for the conquerors and I already had hero, gladiator, skillz and zaishen supporter titles done from around 12-18 months of PVP.

I can now get Gwamm with just another month of grind, I'm getting EOTN vanquishes done now.

Logged into GW1 at weekend for the first time in many years and had a blast even though I spent most of the time in Kamadan trading.

Got upto 13 points now, next job is to get myself an oppressor and destoyer weapon and 4 more armors.The EOTN armors seem cheapest though I need to get rank 5 rep to allow me to buy those. "looks for a guide"

I started a new character in pre-searing to try and get DoA title, I'm not sure if I will have time to do this before GW2 and most guides seem out of date and dont mention how long it would take using just the added daily quests from level 10.

Titles can be completed after GW2 is live too. I can't see myself ever going back to GW1 though :)
 
lol it's really funny reading about all these people whinnying about others buying the CE version, wtf does it matter what people buy its their game & their choice, jealous or what, and no I did not get it I bought the DDE version.
 
I re-downloaded the GW client (after about 5 years!) in GW2 anticipation, as well... but, I don't know, it didn't really click with me and I failed to get back into it. I was motivated by the titles but - shamefully - after 5 years hiatus with a hardcore few years on vanilla WoW in between... the game just felt aged to me. I'll stick to Tribes until GW2 fully launches :)

You might be confusing people being critical of the worth of the items vs. jealousy. I always dislike when people turn it into "oh, you can't dislike something you must be jealous!".

Same for swtor ce, it was a complete pile of **** that was worth nothing :p
Only thing is I can sell the model for some money back.
 
I am certainly not jealous in my comments about the CE. I just think they're silly things, really, considering the real good we are buying and have interest in is an immaterial one (or a virtual one, whichever you prefer). £150 certainly isn't an unaffordable amount of money for anyone, I don't think, so jealousy doesn't really come into it. Questioning how wise it is to spend that sort of money on a few throw-ins, however...

(btw, ChrisJSY, did you ever play TF2? Your name is very familiar from early Beta TF2...)
 
Tbh, I bought the collectors edition to give back to ArenaNet for the amazing time I had with guild wars 1.

I really don't care much about the items and stuff you get with the collectors edition although they are a nice bonus.

I did yeah, although I don't remember much about it last thing I remember was I frequented Hampshire Heavy's, not sure if they had a pre-release server but, mebbe!

£34.49, lowest price possible for the pre purchase which was good.

I'm going to cancel my Diablo 3 CE too, I didnt enjoy the beta. Looks like I'll be just playing GW2, PoE and any decent Indie games for the next few years.

5 PVE, 10 PVP :p

I completed Eotn + Wik 5 times in total, one with dual accounting for a 6th, and I've only completed most the full game on my main character, including all vanquishes, explorers and HM missions etc. I just have 10 more Eotn vanquishes left to do, thats like 4-5 days worth of grind, plus delver, norn and survivor titles.

Every area on my HM map will be golden before GW2 launches :)
