How do you expect to use the £6.99 beta key exactly? What beta is it going to get you into because the only way into this weekends beta is with the full pre purchase key registered with a GW2 account. Earlier closed betas had beta keys, and it looks like you paid for one of those.

Strictly speaking, it's the only guaranteed way. They are still selecting people from the earlier sign up method. I suppose someone could have sold one of those for this weekends' event to a third party. I don't know how that system works, though - just guessing.

Well maybe earlier beta keys may work based on that, but the Email that was just sent by arena et makes it appear unlikely.

Is this really how this forum community operates? Pause for a moment to criticize one thing that the majority are behind and you're accused of "whining"? Sorry, I still don't see the use-value in any CE... and as for future speculative exchange-value, well, let's just wait and see. For most CE's it ends up being pretty un-profitable.
 
Have people received there email for the beta client download? i pre purchased the day it was available and have received nothing yet, just the confirmation email about registering.

I'm using Dxtory, Virtual Audio Cable and FME from adobe to stream.

Best combo I've found up to now but I'm a streaming noob.

Btw Will13, I'm from Brid. Small world :)

Having had a quick look on a well known auction website, it appears that people are selling their PAX East beta access keys (attendees got given a key, and also 2 more keys to share).

So it's likely to be a genuine key. But to be honest, paying £7 for a weekend of play is not that good a value for money I think.
 
Hmmm, this is an odd request, but im hoping someone can help.

Ages ago I saw a preview video for GW2 with some kind of a Cyclops golem boss shooting a jet of flame from its eye that the player characters had to run away from or get killed / downed. It was my favorite boss fight footage I had seen and now I can't find it :(
