Really liked guardian and ranger, guardian in particular. Engineer I wasn't so impressed with, I reckon I need a few more levels in it to see how it develops. Turrets seemed a bit pointless early on.

Warrior and mesmer look pretty good too, haven't had a chance to try elementalist or necro yet. Thief just seemed hard to play

I envisage everyone and their dogs rolling Elementalists as they are extremely powerful, ranged and great in PvP.

I really enjoyed the thief class but it struggled with regards to survivability however the mechanics made it quite fun. I also saw some player getting 3-5k hits using (i think) two daggers attacking players from behind, was very nasty.

I honestly haven't a clue what class to pick when it's released :confused:

I seem to be obsessed with making a big ugly warrior, really enjoyed playing it and i don't usually bother with melee classes.

Ranger was nice too though.

I think I'm still stick with my Mesmer, but I have an interest in Necromancer, Ranger and Guardian. I really like the way a Staff Mesmer spreads conditions + boons. Seems like it may be decent for solo or support, which is the kind of playstyle I'm after.

Guardian is far to much fun with a two handed mace.

But I just Die, far to easily.

Im guessing im just a nub.

Im sort of Healing spec at the moment, its pretty fun but i want more solo damage.

I really enjoy the whole aspect of dodging and no one actually being tanky enough to take sustained and burst damage. Makes the game really fun for me.

if you preorder from reliable digital sources yes, which means you have to cough up the cash now with no refund opportunity. (ie no abusing the system), at this rate we will be lucky if it gets released this year its very very buggy at present.

You must make sure you pre-order from an authorised retailer or you can miss out on beta. most people I know have just done it via the guild wars 2 site to ensure they get in though.

Beta isn't running all the time, they're doing the odd weekend and evening testing it's not 24/7.

Yeah, you need the pre-purchase. Ie. you pay for the whole game now, not when it gets posted. The Game one seems to be a standard pre-order, charge you when they post out the box at release.

Some people think it's buggy, most players on the other hand though only have minor issues.

Current rumour mill suggest that's end of June/start of July is a potential date.

In what wasy is it "very very buggy"? There's performance issues, but they were supposedly hardware tests, apart from that I only found a couple of bugs through the whole weekend. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it's better than a lot of games are at release.

I wish people would understand that beta doesn't mean finished product, MMOs in particular are never finished*!

* until EA purchase them.

All I want if I buy the game now is the hear circlet thingy... I doubt the version of the game sold on the game webiste gives you that.

If it did, wallet would be out already

Yeah that Game one certainly looks like a pre-order.

You can get into the beta and pay on a website but it must say pre-purchase.

I have my Collectors edition on order from Gamestop and received the pre-purchase box a few weeks before the first beta weekend.

Really looking forward to it

So what do we think Beta in last weekend in May or not one until next month now?

They announced the last one relatively early however as many people now have the client they may not feel the need to do this and just announce it next week.
