Guild Wars 2

Took me the last few months to get from 3 to 30 and that was with 600k in the bank.

Funny thing is after getting 30 Ive spent most time ilding in Kamadan trading (which was one of favourite bits in gw1 and will miss in gw2) and nearly got the 600k back.

Yeah 500 plat. I sold some weapon I had for 100k+. Having not played for like 3-4 years, I had a lot of mini pets which sold for like 3-5k each, some for 15k (after I had put 20 in HoM of course). I think I even sold some alcohol stuff I had in storage.

What I bought were some armours, ancient and asura are the cheapest I believe. I was already wearing Elite Kurzick on my monk. Getting companion armours is easy, they are like 5k each (maybe even cheaper if lucky) 9 of those for 40-45k and then get the black moa pet which is really easy and that's 6 points in about 20-60 mins. Did the WiK to get the weapon and then got destroyer. Don't remember what else I did but I never even expected to get the 30.

My character name is Haribo Star if you want to see what I got to get 30. If I still have GW on my computer I will check to see if I have anything spare tonight.

Yeah its going to be tricky but I'm going to grind a lot lol. Starting with zero cash is a problem though. Any tips on making a few K to begin with?

Go do some 'Treasure' runs. Free gold, gold weapons, and possible gem drops.

You can do the majority of them super fast and net yourself 20k+ in no time.

not sure how far I got in prophecies I tended to jump around d a bit, and have long stretches when I did not play.

Is there a quick way to check how far you are in any of the expansions, have them all not sure if I finished any :p

go onto the guild wars 2 hall of monumnets website, type in your character name and if it says eternal hero of Tyria, Canthia or Elonia thats the campaing you've finished
 
Im currently on 44 HoM points, I need to craft obby armour for 2 more points ( have most the mats)
Then i need 18 more honor statues :/
 
Well considering i had the game for a good 4-5 years I should have finished xD
I just spent most my time in the guild hall and very unproductively.
EoTN titles are east its just a massive grind of the same 3/4 missions, just need master of the north and the vanguard one :)
1 skill hunter left and so much carto to do :(
