Has anyone noticed that they added supersampling in the stress test? the beta weekend they only had default, and subsampling which decreases the image quality for better performance. I tried supersampling and it added more grass and improved the quality of everything in the distance. It cut my fps from 60fps (vsync on) to 40fps and I was getting terrible fps drops making it not worth having on. The driver I was using is months old now so I downloaded Nvidia's latest beta driver and now the game is giving good fps even with supersampling on.



Only thing I turned off is FXAA I honestly don't notice the jagged edges when playing I'm not sure if supersampling helps with jagged edges?
 
How do mesmers play in PvE? In the original you needed a team to actually take down the bad guys after the mesmer shut them down. If you're out adventuring on your own can a mesmer hold its own?

What GPU do you have? If you don't mind me asking. :)

Right a question for you HOM point wh..... must it all be on one character, as I got the first few titles on my warrior, but I have being doing EON on my monk, will they count?

I have gotten 3 the tapestries of the 5 required all on my Monk, except for the ones you get for completing the first part, I got the Eternal hero of Cantha & Tyria on my warrior.

So can I use the pets and place them on the monument with my companions (with my Monk) and will the monks stuff and the warriors combine for HOM points?

I'm pretty sure they do, so maybe a waste of a question but I typed it so ... :p

The points all combine, if you talk to the guy at the entrance you can show all the tapestry's on your account from all your characters.

Asus GTX670 top edition and Intel ivy bridge 3570k cpu, 8gb 1600mhz ram




FPS varies depending what area I'm in and what's happening on screen. If there's 30+ players battling infront of me my fps generally decreases by 10-15fps but it's not noticeable and still runs smooth.
