Had one bug during the stress test, when I initially logged in and made a character there was no UI. had to force quit the app. Relaunch and it works fine.

no you dont i linked the setup file for gw2 a few pages back.

i had the full client downloaed before i bought the game

So we're nearly at the 24hour mark till headstart access begins!

What VOIP server is everyone congregating on? OCUKs? Immortals? (Need to apply to Immortals at some point)

I guess everyone will be on different voip servers seeing as theres multiple guilds with different people from this forum in them.

most of us will be on desolation though so i guess we can team up for WvWvW pvp

Well I'll definitely be on Desolation. Oh well, I'll see where I end up tomorrow.

Well The Immortals will be on our VOIP, details on our website... should be about 60/70 people from here ..O no wait according to toehrs I'm lying and there is only like 3 from here

theres other guilds listed on the first page if you dont want a big guild try one of those.. (chk4 would probably welcome you into doom if you want a more normal sized guild)

I'm starting to wonder is wab is actually the adult on his facebook page or the guys son......

Sigh looks like the launcher isn't nearway as intelligent as Blizzards. I had about 40% downloaded last night, something happened, and my laptop turned off. It's started at zero again..

Should just be the percentage that's reset, the number of files to download will be where it left off.

That's because it showing the % of what it has left to download.

I see people talking about creating characters already; can you do that and then log into the game servers when it unlocks?

ANet have now added the ability to link guild wars 1 and guild wars 2 accounts through the account management page.

So if like me you started playing Guild Wars 1 after registering Guild Wars 2 you can now be happy that all your hall of monument point farming is now useful

As far as I am aware you can not do this.

I'm think people are referring to rushing the character creation to reserve names, then deleting it and taking their time, as the name then becomes account-bound for 24 hours.
