-_- This thread is just full of negativity towards others, the game and anyone who has an opinion which is different.

The majority of you need to man the **** up and walk away if you dislike the game, someone else or just wanna come in here and shout your opinion the loudest and not even want a proper discussion without it turning into a catfight.
 
Can we not just make a Guild/Clan recruitment section? :(

I might start an alt tonight. Not really sure about thief, I feel like I'm not as good as a ranger at range and when I go close in I can do a lot of damage but I just die far too quickly.

I think the character needs more than two dodges, I can dodge two attacks but then I'm ******. Also more ways of activating stealth would be better so we can actually flank stuff. In WvWvW I feel a bit useless, the squishys can all hang back and the warriors/guardians/mesmers can all go forwards but I'm stuck somewhere in the middle and I don't feel very effective.

The daggers/sword I basically haven't used since about level 15, they're great fun to use but since then enemies are simply doing too much damage to get in that close, my only options is bow/dual pistols and circle around them.

Might role a guardian.
 
This game is so bad for my OCD with all the collectables to get in each zone, I've got to the position where I refuse to leave a zone until I have 100%. I would probaly be level 40 by now if it wasn't for this obsession :p

I would like to say that there's a special place in hell for the devs who made the vistas and points of interest. I had one poi which you had to get to through a tiny hole underwater hidden by kelp, I don't know how I found it I just randomly swam at the wall :confused:

There was also a vista where the steps up to it were about half the map away from the vista. It took me ages to find. I do feel a massive sense of achievement though when I get it. :p
 
So it's not Gil release until today and already a lot of you from what you are saying are stuck on overflows? Bit poor that, what's the pop cap before it over spills? Should be horrific after today! :p

There were 2, no idea what was in the first one but the second was to fix the respawn of a level 25+ DE that everyone was exploiting. It would spawn in a cave every 2 minutes and everyone just stood on that spot spamming auto attack so it was one hit by them all. 800-1100 xp every 2 minutes which is quite a lot in this game. They changed it's respawn to every 6 minutes now so it won't be worthwhile.

Doesn't matter. They'll fix it soon enough where being in the overflow doesn't effect you when trying to party up, it's gotta be broken cos there's no reason to have it setup how it is atm.
 
I should have played it more during the weekend. When i am at work, all ive done the last week is read/talk about guild wars. Yet when im actually home, all i do is sit on facebook/news websites |:

So, I re rolled into thief leaving behind my Guardian. I am a bit more aware of how the game works now. Crafting and such. Leveling is going faster now due to knowing how the leveling system works. Still not keen on not learning new skills. And I will probably be dual weilding daggers for the rest of the game now. So the current skills I have are the only skills... Which as said before, can get a bit tedious.

Desolation is very laggy indeed. Who can I contact for a invite into the OcUK guild?

I am very much liking Sword + Pistol on my Thief. Pistol Whip for the win! :)
