Actually, I would say this is one of the first MMO's that I have played that pretty much forces the 'MMO' on you. The random events for example.Optional yes, but the moment you take part you will be getting involved.

Which is what I am LOVING at the moment. It's awsome, reminds me of the old days in Cruma tower (Lineage 2).

don't they scale depending how many people in the zone? so really you can play solo

Does anyone know if the armor skins you can purchase in the gem store, specifically the primeval armor set, are unlimited uses like the hom skins? or just only one time? Thanks, sorry if this has been answered before just too many posts to read

The description says they can be applied once per piece of armour, so I'm assuming they're consumed after one application

i was looking at those skins there nice, is it possible to transmut a medium/light armour onto a heavy??

That sucks, just spend 2 gold on gems, they should change it to unlimited like hom as it is account bound

Not afaik, think the description also specifically states it can only be applied to armour of the same type.

Actively participating in the DE isn't it? Otherwise you can have a zone of 100 players but 1 person attempting the DE but it's scaled to the 100 players.

thats annoying, i was willing to spend gems on the light armour but my class is heavy

yes, though it hasn't affected my ability to play. (I played last night without any problems)

In terms of the item skins.

The skin itself may be one use HOWEVER, I assume you can then use that piece of armor with a transmutation stone to reskin another item and so on.

So technically you will always have the skin, you will just need a transmutation stone (not hard to acquire).

I've been using the same skin for one of my dagger since the starting area, it's an Asura skin and looks bad ass, I just use a transmutation stone every time I get an upgrade. From completing areas and Black Lion chests I've got dozens of stones already.

I could be wrong having not actually used the transmutation stones yet, but could you not keep the looks of the gear you added the armor too and the stats of uglier gear?

A question to other GW 2 players who bought the deluxe edition which includes the Tome of Influence. I used the Tome to boost the influence of the guild I am representing and nothing actually happened, except a nice graphical display and the Tome disappearing from my Inventory. I have leader status in the guild, but did not create the guild itself and was definitely representing at the time.

The Tome should add 1000 Influence points to the guild. I have reported it as a bug, but was wondering if anyone else had this problem?

Pretty much this. I've been converting a bit of silver here and there and have a couple of hundred gems. I'll probably keep adding to it and buy the Primeval Skin. Even if I decide to stop using it, I can just pop it into the bank for safe keeping later on.

I dunno if it's just me or a fault with GAME, but I've ended up being able to make 2 accounts

Got one code e-mailed to me for the preorder access, and then I received my physical copy today which had another serial inside. I was able to register that 2nd one fine and logged in both with no issues...
