simply put, In GW2 the item do give stats.

In structured pvp though (battlegrounds, warzones whatever) you all get the same stats on your gear, and you can just put on different items to look different from everyone else.

He's a self obsessed *** who thinks he is a lot smarter than he is, gets his jollies beating (verbally of course) on mmo kids.

Used to argue with him all the time back when he tried to troll the old wow forms where he thought long words made him more intelligent than everyone else. Never had time for any of his inane ramblings since that.

If you hadn't said the name totalbiscuit i'd have thought you were talking about another "e-gaming journalist", seems they're all the same. They all think they're better than everyone else in the gaming world because they got a good grade in English :/

I'm pretty lame with every MMO I have played. Not once have I read a quest or really know what is going off. I'm lazy though and don't read. I'll see though if I can force myself with GW2.

Well, i am pretty much the same but i play for enjoyment not to read a novel. :p

You still get pretty much the whole story just by skipping all lore/log entrys
 
I know TotalBiscuit has accepted that he has problems with brevity, but he really hasn't done a thing to address that issue.
Most of his Mailbox videos last at least 4 times longer than is necessary. He just repeats the same points over and over again. I'm not even exaggerating.

Solution: Don't watch the mailbox vids.
You're all like those people from the era of "I don't like what's on the radio, I don't like what's on the TV". :p
 
Overall I like TB and watch most of his videos.

I know he is called the Cynical Brit, however I often think he is too focused on the negative aspect of gaming rather than the positives, although that may well be part of his act.
