login not working, will give it a miss for 30 minutes until it dies down a bit

Yeah it's looking pretty hit and miss at mo. Got to the story mode which I liked then got a blank screen with music. Tried to relogin and got an error - like what I have seen so far (which isn't much

Ah this was the link I was trying as well, assumed things were borked.

Well so far the Beta has been rather typical for an MMO public launch... seems Arena-net are failing to break this particular mould

You can tell they got greedy and oversold on their pre-order Beta entry promise because they stopped selling digital copies earlier today - I guess when they realised the true extent of the situation. Some influx! As soon as I got onto Desolation earlier I was instantly put on an overflow server... good to see that feature working, at least!
