Guild Wars 2

I suppose I'll be levelling my Norn warrior a bit, experimenting with the mage classes, maybe messing about with the gem store, go a bit further with crafting and try a bit more WvW.

So not much, but I have a free weekend! :D

I may even try tinkering with the GFX settings as the effects overload gets a bit silly at times. If this is possible, of course.

i'm not a wow fanboy before anyone asks but I would like to know how come people bash wow for being casual and easy yet this gets praised like the coming of christ?

Whilst casual, I'd say there were aspects at low level that were not easy by any stretch. Extrapolating would lead me to assume this continues. I think for me its mostly balance of content; there's a lot of varied pvp stuff, and there's a lot of varied PvE stuff.

I look forward to giving the dark room a whack this week.

Anyone else on Far Shiverpeaks? Nice to see we came 5th out of 24 EU servers in WPVP last beta :)

Going out on the lash tonight so wont get a chance tonight, but the girlfriend is going out all day saturday so gonna have a long sesion Saturday, thinking of trying a melee class now, enjoyed my ranger. Melee classes seemed to take a bit of a slating though as it seemed to get owned by mobs quite easily at low lvls, anyone that played a melee char that can shed some light in to this?
