It's only 4 hours long, 8pm to midnight BST. Although based on previous beta tests, it could start as early as an hour before schedule.

Sorry at work so skim reading, I'm having issues with my 670, can you link me to this thread please? Tried running in SLI and non SLI and still not getting the performance I would expect.

Because it's something you posted with absolutely nothing meaningful other than "Change an option everybody changes anyway".

If there was an inherent nVidia problem with configuration and was advised on by GW2 developers it would be all over every GW2 forum, blog and news article - yet it's not.
 
green man gaming have this code- ORDER-NTCOM-PLETE it takes gw2 down to £37.77 from 49.99 hmmm tempted by this have it on sainsburys pre order at £29.99 though digital vs hard copy get 3 days headstart with the digital too and no possible delay on delivery time hmmmm

and i have already downloaded the game just need the activation code..

what do you guys think? help or am i just being impatient....and i should just save my money? anyone know what sainsburys deklivery is like on pre orders.

If you do order from green man gaming, it may be worth going through a cashback site. If I remember right topcashback have 6% cashback on greenmangaming, which will reduce the overall cost even further.
 
£34.97 at Tesco Entertainment - does anybody know anywhere cheaper for the digital copy with 3 days early access? Is the Tesco copy even digital/early access - it doesn't say

There are no factory overclocked GTX690s

In the past, I have overclocked it - but it was running stock when I was playing the last Beta.

I also changed the performance option from "adaptive" to "prefer maximum performance"... no change.

It only seemed to be using maybe 40% of each GPU
 
Ok I haven't been following anything with GW2 at all to keep things as much spoiler free as possible to make it a better surprise. But what's this immortals thing about?

I just get sad inside when I see how sin_chase talks to people. This thread has been littered with nasty people. I pray it's nicer when we get in game!
 
I was hitting 80+ consistantly through out all of the BWE's.

Thats with a 560ti 448 and a 955 Phenom.

Maybe they need to sort it out for some, but for me it was great.

Can't wait for release..

Guardian or no guardian. That is the question.
 
I know CJS keys really messed up back in the pre-order Beta days... and I was fully refunded for their mistake... but Arenanet haven't cancelled my account :D Haha. Free GW2!
 
The game does take up tiny amounts of vram at even 2560x1600 so I think maybe the release version will use more cpu as well as all the gpu usage I'm seeing.
 
With regards to using the "Adjust image settings with preview" in the nVidia Cpanel - Nobody who knows what they are doing EVER uses "Let the 3D Application Decide" as a global setting and ignoring all user selected 3D Settings.

I've not played about with the settings much in the control panel. Maybe I should.

I have very little tolerance for incompetency and total BS.

Seeing as you are someone who has seemingly never played an MMO before I would suggest you harden up.

I'll be gaming on Windows 7 though. :)

The 650m aint that bad. It's the 1GB GDDR5 version and clocked higher than stock. Macs 650ms are strangely.
