@MrJohnSherry: That could be an issue with the login server. My client has hung when I try to confirm names and/or then go back in the creation process.

Keep an eye on their twitter feed although atm they are only looking into lag issues not login. I did get in eventually so I suggest keep trying and if you do get in don't logout like I just did

Well I managed to get 2 of the 4 names I wanted of so not too bad going. Thought of a couple more but I'm stuck on the last page of char creation now.

Singular names for sure. I don't see why char names need to be unique. We have a unique game name already which is name.1234

They confirmed on Twitter the login issues.

Game doesn't launch to 8AM, they can turn stuff on and off till then willy nilly.

It's not off its just millions of people are trying to login at once. TBH I was surprised it went so well as it did but I guess as news gets around the servers are online the load gets greater.

IMO just add to the load and keep trying to login :/
