Guild Wars 2

Elementalist has been widely promoted as being very flexible, while reports on the engineer seem rife with reports of randomness poor turret AU etc. I wonder if such reports have influenced people's choices.

IMO in the current state Engi, Necro, Mesmer and Thief are all pretty niche to the point of redundancy. For 90% of average/casual players, anyway. The skillcurves involved do not give any real payoff to most people.

This isn't the Immortals forum even if it is a OCUK guild. Don't bring even more drama here please.

More people post here than they do on the Immortals forum, its pretty much dead. Just annoying getting kicked for using one of the games cool perks.

. Some people are now so eager to find praise for GW2 that a poorly-designed encounter is being confused for a purposefully challenging one.

Conversely there are people like you who for some reason spend all their posts in a GW2 thread slating the game at every opportunity.

Silly people on both side of the fence.

Can anyone tell me how to get this POI in Kessex Hills? Been trying to find it for ages.

It's under water, the event to the south west of that POI, go to the event person and go to the north west of the cave he's in and follow the underwater cave to the end.

I wouldn't say niche. As always don't pay too much attention to the state of play of the classes during what is officially day one.

I keep saying it but I would rather be playing my class of choice even if it is a bit under powered to begin with. At least I know my Necro main won't be nerfed:)

It was pretty obvious that Ele was going to be flavour of the month.

What did you do, exactly?

I joined a small social guild with about 4 members in it from my old WoW guild. You can join multiple guilds in GW2 and switch between them freely to chat in at any time, that is what got me kicked from The Immortals.

wow.. kicked you just for that, its a bit pathetic. I'm in 3 guilds and I've not been kicked yet. Just going to leave it then.

Seems a bit of a harsh rule for a casual guild that effectively invites everyone, why have you decided on that?

Going to reply to this once and once only, its a guild rule its always being a guild rule, 5 few days ago we posted it in a huge post to make sure people were aware of it we have being as upfront about it as possible, you either want to be part of our guild and be proud to build it into a premier GW2 guild or not.

As I said to Colex this is not personal and no hard feelings, but if he wants to play and represent another guild then thats fine, but he must then just take all his toons there.

End of the day guys ..and girls this is your game to be played as suits you, but all guilds like anything in life needs some forms of rules and structure we open and honest about ours, if what we say does not suit you please do not join, as its your game to play for fun .. do what suits you best.

Our Code of Conduct.

Fair enough, I could not imagine in splitting my effort over several guilds. I join a guild because I like it and it suits me, if not, I leave. No need to cry over it.

Airing your grievances here isn't exactly good form, especially when you would have known about it beforehand if you'd read their code of conduct.
