Guild Wars 2

Give it a break, you guys are like a stuck record. Many guilds insist on exclusive membership for whatever game they're playing. I wouldn't mind but it was in the code of conduct if you'd bothered to read it.

I'm not even connected with wabs guild and it's annoying me.

That's strange. Just tried to log in and it's saying that my email address wasn't found. I then went to the website to log in and I get the same error message.

Not sure what's going on here as I've been playing fine since Tuesday.

Check your emails for password recovery mails. There is reports of people been getting hacked already.

I seem to be struggling with my Elementalist all of a sudden :(

I got to level 20, and im struggling to stay alive. Has anyone else noticed this with another cloth wearer? (im prolly just doing something silly)

Every single mmo-guild I have been in has requested the same. while you play a game with them, you are in their guild only. I can think of one that allowed alts into other guilds, but mains were always one guild only.

It's not a new rule and I do not think it unreasnoble

I've never heard of a casual guild stating you can't be a member of another guild ever. Hell, I know that when playing on my main, if I didn’t want the trouble/hassle or even just some quiet time I would jump onto an alt that wasn't guilded. I've also had chars that were PvE based and chars in entirely different guilds that rolled in PVP exclusively. 2 different focuses, 2 different guilds.

Seems really bizarre that this game embraces that aspect/social side and you have an apparent social/casual guild that punishes players for using this clever innovation. I’m not a member of Immortals nor would I want to be as I find the behaviour of the officers and some members that frequent here to be childish on occasion. But it seems to be they are shooting themselves in the foot with this attitude towards members and the multiple guilds.

Well I just got an email saying someone has requested a change of email address on my account and hopefully it was me. Well it wasn't and there's not option within the email to say it wasn't.

I have contacted customer support and await their reply. Come on Arenanet, have a better system in place, it's not like you're new to all this.

I'm a Necro. Remember to dodge roll, and kite the mobs. This is especially important if you are speccing more towards a glass canon role.

There has been message about this on the login screen of GW2 for the past couple of days. Ignore them.

What dye combinations are you guys rocking?

Ebony + Gunmetal ^ Just picked up a midnight ice though, may use that or may flip it, still undecided.

I'm no pro at the game, but am up to 29 on my ele. My advice would be not to try and tank anything, keep running in circles and avoid as much damage as possible. I am fighting 2 things that are a 1-2 levels higher than me and coming out at 100% health a lot of the time through avoiding damage.
I do agree though, we are very squashy and will get 3 hit's and your dead a lot of the time, but trying to avoid the damage is a good chunk of the fun with the combat :)

Always wondered this, I'm 52 at the moment and been doing story quests for my order(Order of Whispers!) since 30.

Do characters with the same order do the same quest or are they still different? I know they differ slightly as me and my friend picked the same order, the main difference being I've got a Charr as my "companion" and he has a human. We're both Asura, just I'm a thief and his a engineer.

Have we just got incredibly bad luck to be do the same quests or come 30 if you pick the same order do you do the same quests?

Is it only me who is thinking that the bans handed out recently is more of a shortcoming on Anet's side?

So what if people "exploited" the system?
The possibility to exploit the system, with something so basic as selling easily obtained weapons shouldn't have been there in the first place, they could have seen that coming from miles away if they tested properly.

I could understand Anet if the exploit had to do with third party programs or exploiting a glitch in the system, but this just seems a bit stupid.

I think Anet should have said "sorry for the mistake on our part, the possibility to do this is being fixed and for those of you that were smart enough to get on it, gg"
