Guild Wars 2

I wandered around Manchester city centre on my lunch today to see if I could pick this up and couldn't find it! Do high street shops not sell PC games anymore? I just wanted to check how the price compares to the digital price.

HMV has a huge games section now but it wasn't there. I did notice they had Diablo 3 for £43 though, bargain! >_>
 
I got 100% completion on the Nord Foothills! (Nord starting area) and am Lv 15 now.

Really enjoying it so far. Just been playing solo and teaming up with random players for generated events.

Haven't done any crafting or pvp yet. I believe there's loads more to stats and items when I start crafting and using gems and elixers and what not things you get in MMO's
 
Just got an e-mail from GW2 saying an attempt to log into my account has been made from Beijing

Errr wut. Anyone had similar?

Have you ever lost an account in another mmo? Anet were working on additional security measures can only assume it's possibly one of them, unless there's some ambiguous link which you don't need me to tell you to be weary of clicking. :-)

I'm pretty much same as you, Human ranger and lvl 16 with 100% complete in start area. Just been on pvp for the last hour. It's great. :D
 
I've just been on pvp, It's fast paced and a fair amount of fun.

I need to try this WvW stuff... But no idea how? lol

but no link to say no. Considering their experience with mmo's I am shocked at this level of apathy towards their customers account security. I can only assume it's because they don't use a subscription model they are not bothered about continuous monthly subs.

I just want to play again.

Is the original e-mail real though?
 
I can't login as if I try in game or account management it says email address isn't associated with the game or account. This has been since I tried to log in this morning. I got this email an hour later.

Contact their Customer Services, looks like you lost your account(unless you used different email)
 
Its all very frustrating, good job the weathers nice so I can lose myself riding my bike, but I think this is the last time I jump into an mmo at the start.

Thinking about it I've never stuck with an mmo when I've joined from day one, but those I joined which were established I played for ages. DAoC couple of years, SWG a couple as well and EVE Online 5 years.
 
This game is broken at higher levels. Just spent 2 hours on a bugged level 70 quest with a very odd bolted on cut scene at the end and the choice of 3 different types of vendor gear to choose from...vendor gear...

I don't think I'm going to touch single player for a few more patches...you always get good loot from single player story quests but this is so obviously bugged.
 
Well had a decent time in WvW with some of The Immortals, got a few forts and we were holding on to them in a back and forth battle when I called it. Fun times :)

Decided against Engi after all that though, back to Necro :p
 
Question for anyone who's completed Metrica Province - the skill quest in the top right corner (in the inquest lab), "black ice 4444"; is this broken? Everyone who goes up to it can't seem to interact with it.
