Guild Wars 2

Not even gonna bother with WVWVWVW, dont have the time or patience to wait in a line for 3 hours to play.

Yea thats what i do but i have been playing gw2 for 3-4 hour sessions and never got into WvW.

its a a bit of a farce really. many cant join in WvW which is a shame.

If your in a guild, its impossible to get all your guild buddies to join in WvW and work together
 
Yeah WvW queues on desolation are bad :p

I was online from 7pm until 1130pm last night and I was queuing the whole time, it popped just as I was about to log off but couldn't be arsed by that point :p

Loving the game :D got my Necro to level 10 and having a great time, love the class and having so much fun questing and the dynamic events. Crafting is a bit frustrating as I never can find enough tailoring mats but it's all good :)

Back at work today and already looking forward to having a game on it tonight :p
 
WvWvW has been instant for me every time i've queued.

Having withdrawals now, away from home for a few days and this laptop has no chance of even attempting to play the game :(
 
Can someone give me some reasons for WvWvW and the benifits of doing this.

Also I have only been in once but I am not sure if I am doing it right - Do you press B and then select which area of the map you would like to fight in.

I am a complete noob at this lol
 
Still struggling with crafting, hit level 30 last night, completed half the starter zones, but haven't managed to get anywhere near enough items to level leatherworking past 75. Leather drops in particular are terrible :(

basically its sever vs server. so for example if your Home server is desolation there will be 3 main types of World vs World.

you will have Desolation vs Y server, Desolation vs X server and Desolation vs X vs Y. Eternal Battlegrounds is the free for all which is the X vs Y vs Z

You either need to grind for the materials or buy them from the tradepost when it's working.

I've leveled armour smithing to 400 and working on weapon smithing now. It's more than possible to do them just takes dedication and time.

I'm struggling too.

I spent 30mins killing animals (panthers and boars) and didn't get one leather drop.

+1 on crafting, spent almost two days farming ore and other mats, it’s not easy but worth it and fun :D
