Guild Wars 2

Gah I cant seem to get passed level 11. :-/

Story quests are level 15+ which are now too hard to complete.
Done /almost/ everything in the beginning section (caledone forest)

Quite bored of seemingly being unable to level.
Not really fond of grinding.

I had this sort of issue too and was tempted to give up. (I was something like 13 and needed 16) Then I realised that you could visit other starter areas to get required levels, and this is extremely easy and enjoyable. I'm now level 26 and have completed 3 starter areas, Hoelbrak and 1 secondary area.

I'm now around 2-3 levels higher than needed and as I tend to complete all areas I travel through, I don't see myself having further issues.

My local GAME have jacked the price of Guildwars 2 up from £39.99 to £49.99

Even CJS CDKeys is charging £52.99

I'm supposed to pick up a second copy up for the missus some time this week, hers is going to end up costing £15 more than mine lol.

Great guide however I totally disagree about the need for this.

One shouldn't have to resort to googling websites to understand the game mechanics it should be obvious and if crafting is available from level 1 then there should be a feeder quest to introduce you at least to the craft masters.

Oh and the agony of them releasing a game 2 days before I returned to work :(

You mean you want your hand held like that other game.

Half the fun is learning if your told how to do everything what's the point.

I agree some things need tutorials. Combat imo is one area. Everyone is coming from MMO's where movement is not key to staying alive. Introducing movement and how to avoid being hit could have had a tutorial.

Anyone tried the latest notebook drivers from
nVidia? Have heard reports of 10fps gains in some areas which would be excellent.

Drivers for the M series cards? My partner is using the latest beta driver - release 27/8/12. Are there any newer ones? If not then it doesnt run that great on them, it also seems to make very little difference to fps if i have most stuff on high to having it on low. The laptop has a 2.8 c2d and a 280m. Its ok but not great gets anything from 12 to 30 fps. Funny thing is that it runs just about everything else fine.

My Guardian. Quite the badass. :D

I bought this too. It's sat in storage though as its a one time use only. I was thinking though can I use transmute to put it onto new gear?

For now though I am using the armour here at 0:30 - 1:00. Love the spikes. Im using it with the flame gloves from HoM with a large Fellblade. I got a comment from a random player today saying I look "sick".

Im not one for spending real money for stuff, but will think about it to get a larger bank, its a pain having mules. Cant find the option to buy more bank slots.

Yes those are the ones, although my system is a Retina MBP that actually runs the game on medium-high settings pretty well already.
