Anyone still play this as in is there a large community for it still with loads of people in the game to play wtih or have they moved to the expansions or left the game all together. Just thinking of trying this with some mates but if no one really plays anymore whats the point in buying it. Hence im here to find out. If its worth it and is there a large community still using original with no expansions.

Hmm a site is selling original for 9.99 and factions for 9.99 if i get factions can i play with guildwars 1 ppl as in is it 2 in 1 game containing both games or just the extra stuff.

Which version do i buy im woundering since most are 9.99

Nightfall. Newest. And you get Heroes.

Then Prophecies as its ace.

Factions last as its the shortest and worst story/game of the three.

I played prophecies for a while and it was amazing, one of the best RPGS ive ever played, its not as active as it used to be, and some places you may have to use NPCS instead of real people for missions, but it should be fine most places.

At least you can create an Assassin in Factions. :D

That pic has given me a thirst for the game again, I just don't know how I would get back into it. My already very small guild (which I liked) has practically disbanded now :(
Without other human companions I don't think I could do 15hr+ sessions anymore.

Oh and one area>>>>all others ;)

Pre-searing eh? ;)

You're gonna carry the weight of that idyllic memory through every game you ever play man!

As others said, Prophesies and Nightfall were the best storyline-wise, but I'd start with Prophesies simply cause being able to use the Heroes from Nightfall makes the game too easy!

But that's CHEATING!!! :D They need to grow up to appreciate the idyllic beauty of their childhood! :p If you love them, you will let them fly away from the nest!

I like having a char in pre-searing all the time just to mess about, I know many people say it's not the case but there does seem to be more dye drops there.

Whats the highest level you can get too in pre searing?

Also thinking about reinstalling prophecies or perhaps buying nightfall?

Is farming etc still a popular thing to do?
