Figured I'd find out what films people love to watch that either are terrible films or just plain cheesy classics.

The demolition man and red dawn have to be two of mine!

I'm a sucker for things with Hugh Grant in, mainly Love Actually. I have a feeling that admitting this may come round and bite me in the future!

Almost anything with Arnie in, more for the terrible one-liners than anything else.

If that's a guilty pleasure then +1

Really enjoy watching the likes of Notting Hill and Love Actually, think it's more to do with the who makes them films though more than any love for Hugh Grant mind ;)

Is that a guilty pleasure because you're still in the closet?

LOL :p

Have to say, Love Actually is one of those films I can watch with the missus over and over without getting too irate so I must enjoy it to some degree.

Mine's probably Big (Tom Hanks) and Groundhog Day, although they aren't that guilty I guess.

Really bad action movies. I watched 12 Rounds the other day and no matter how much I kept saying 'this is awful' I still enjoyed it. FML.

Bring It On is a totally underrated film.

It's got Eliza Dushku in a cheerleading outfit in it, the rest of the film is almost an irrelevance at this point... although I'd agree it's not a bad film overall.

The Replacements and Van Wilder: Party Liaison are about as close as I get to guilty pleasures - I don't think they are really guilty because they're both pretty good films in a light-hearted way, they're not going to change the World but then they never set out to, they're just meant to be good fun.

Was actually thinking of starting similar thread lately, mine that immediately springs to mind is Dante's Peak. Have an HD-DVD copy and love it everytime I watch it. Also like Tremors and most stuff with Jackie Chan.

Ha some excellent films!

I can understand why hugh grant would be a guilty pleasure. I cant stand the man. Although the whole hooker thing did give him some respect imho.

Wait a second, what? He was going out with Liz Hurley at the time and cheated on her with a hooker who with all due respect to her isn't even playing the same game never mind being in the same league. I've seen some pretty stupid moves but that one has to rank up there.

Nope, I can quite definitely say it didn't improve my level of respect for the man any.

I'll watch anything

Notting Hill, Love actually, 4 weddings.

but then again I'm the same with my music collection

I could be listening to Bowie then next in Queue will be The Berzerker

I actually watch Jeremy kyle sometimes as well, despite me slagging the show off at college.
