ah good point, they must making a saving somewhere developing for the PC that they can sell it cheaper. Maybe because there are more PCs then consoles

its cheaper because it is a console port and from what im hearing it isnt a very well optamized one at that.
Hey does any1 know if i can use my 360 guitar hero 2 guitar with pc gh3 hopefully there will be a version of gh3 pc with no guitar will saves myself a bit of money
I would think there's a good chance of that if the 360 GH3 wired guitar is the same. We'll have to see.
Hopefully a lot of custom content will be generated on the pc.

Was gonna buy this too for a change of pace, but be warned, it apparently doesn't work with x64 OS's....just 32 bit XP & Vista only according to the specs.
Will prob pick it up for xbox 360 instead. Since the wife and kids have one. But that means I've got to fight them to get time on it

Does it need to be optimised?
I haven't read anything about it but i've played GH1 & 2 on PS2 and they were pretty damn simple games!
(big colourful buttons and simple 3D models of people!)

The guitars are identical! Vista recognises it when you plug it in - i think! Well i've got guitar hero 2 on the 360 i'm going to buy the bundle for the PC! Can play 2 player on pc gh3 and 360 gh2! Well worth it.
My guess would be they've not bothered to write a 64bit driver for the controller. And
at those system requirements. Ridiculous!Console games are more expensive because thats where the console manufactures make there money, through taking a slice off of every single game.
Might get this, enjoyed all the other Guitar heros, and having it on PC is nice and convenient for me

I've always thought of this as more of a game to play with your mates than on your own, and thats best done on a console. But then I'm pretty rubbish at it anyway. My computer based music skills peaked with that BASIC program that made different beeps when you pressed different keys.
