hi

i bought GH5 which came with the below guitar

then i went out and got the wireless drums controllers below

now both the drums and guitar works fine with GH5 and GHWT as you would expect but i also got rock band (disk only)

now i can get the guitar to sync and the drums sync fine so they can both be used to control the game menus

but when trying to join the band it keeps asking me to connect the microphone??


does rock band need a microphone or isnt the drums and guitar i got compatible



this is on the PS3 BTW

i have that writen on the top of the controller?


is it in the game menus somewhere?


sorry only had the ps3 since xmas

The microphone player can only control the menus via the sixaxis pad, that needs to be on when you play the game if you have a singing player, as far as I'm aware this applies if you dont have a singer as well.

still doesn'nt work though do i set the controller as 1

the drums and guitar and 2 and 3?


also what is the "S" button?

you need to sign in to the ps network to download a patch to use GH5 Controllers on Rockband apparently ,which i cant do due to no internet!
