Guitar Hero: Metallica - Full Setlist announced!

If they did put a double bass song in there, not many people would be able to take advantage.

I have a set of e-drums (the kick pad works fine on GHWT), and even though I have a double pedal I can't use it because the GH:WT drum rack gets in the way of the bar the links both pedals. I'll probably end up getting an extra plastic pedal because of that.

Bah. Just tried to download this and forgot my gold membership had expired. Does anyone have any idea when it will be available to us lowly silver members?

normally 1 week after being released onto the marketplace :)

i'm hearing that this game is region free. so think i'll be importing it :D

I don't know if i'm allowed to ask this, but if not, delete my post and accept my apologies.

For someone like me itching to get my hands on a copy of this but not wanting to wait a month, is trying to get hold of a USA copy an option? There are a few knocking about from various places for around £50 (which it's probably going to be near at release anyway) and will ship to the UK.

Have any of you gone for this option? If so, what are your experiences?

And do games from the USA work on UK consoles?

I'm talking about the PS3 version.

Thanks.

Don't know about the ps3 version - but the 360 version is region free

Fair enough. I assume the peripherals will all work?

What about the legality of doing it?

Peripherals are cross compatible yeah.

Legality wise, it's perfectly legal to import games however if you were to follow the law to a T you would pay import tax, however typically you will find most foreign retailers that ship to the UK will deliberately mark the item as a lower value than it really is to avoid you incurring import charges. Not legal, but it's their problem as they're the ones lying to customs as far as i know.

Only warning i can give is that in order to copy music across from RB1 to RB2 on the PS3 you have to make sure that both games are from the same region. You can't for example copy the songs over from a EU copy of RB1 to a US copy of RB2. Not sure how issues like that affect guitar hero though.

I don't think you can "cross-copy" so it's a moot point. :)

I'll give this some thought, have to shop around a bit I think.

Just a word of warning but if you read the customs website, what you are saying is incorrect. YOU are liable for what they mark on the package and can be held responsible, nothing to do with the seller. I've found this out as my Fight Stick I've ordered is currently in customs so I done a bit of research about potential charges.

Edit - Here is the what I read on the customs website http://customs.hmrc.gov.uk/channels...ntent&id=HMCE_CL_001454&propertyType=document
