Is it worth $60 these days?

Looking to buy it as I'm getting back into guitar again.

Are there many tab files available these days for it? Or have they all been culled due to copyright issues?

I do figure most stuff out myself, but when it comes to more technical or jazz music - Larry Carlton stuff - I struggle badly. Helping my ear by being able to see it would help me massively I reckon.

Do you use GP?

No. For classic jazz stuff there is a good program out there a friend of mine has, he's away at the moment so can't ask him and I can't think of the name of it but it definitely isn't Guitar Pro.

It has hundreds of classic jazz guitarists, tabs and even backing tracks (MP3) in 2-3 different keys. Looked a bit like one of those dodgy pieces of software you see advertised in the back of PC Pro but it turned out to be really useful for him.

Band in a box is the software my mate uses. Not the prettiest most modern bit of software but works very well I've been informed and good for jazz.

Band In A Box used to be preset pieces of music that you just slotted together into a tune so I don't know how much it has changed (without Googling and I can't be arsed).
