Gumballs Polizei Team

I think they are actually Canadian and have the car shipped over for each Gumball. It was purchased new for the 2000 Gumball.

It's awesome. I love it so much.

I think they are both American (USA) if my German is still ok. Also on one of the pics of they car it has USA flag by the driver's names.

Alex Roy works in NY as far as i can remember, emailed him once or twice a few years back after i first saw him on a gumball. Very pleasant bloke from what i could tell from the emails.

EDIT - should really read the post above lol

Team Polizei are german.
No they're not, they're North American. Even if you didn't know that couldn't you tell by their accents?

They where in Italy in the first video, Florerence to be exact.
Thanks for enlightening me. They're in Croatia in the second video.

And your the one prentending someone said something to do with being poor or something
I'm not pretending I said someone said they're poor. I said it's immoral how they sit behind an ambulance and turn their sirens on (imitating a police car) at which point it slows down as if it's being pulled over putting the lifes of whoever they're driving to at risk just so they can go a little faster in that leg of the race. I don't think it's necessary to explain why that's bad.

I don't know where you're getting it from but it's not wanted.
I'm getting it from watching the video and having seen previous Gumballs. "It's not wanted" - by who? You? Or are you suddenly the Voice of the People of Motors and a new supreme adminstrator rolled into one?

Anyone what would happen if they did that in the UK and got caught?
Another point. They know full well not a lot would happen to them if they got stopped because they could just bribe the police or something, it's happened on previous Gumballs.

I don't actually hate the Gumball, I went to start of this year's one in London and posted my photos in the thread on OcUK. I just think some of the contestants ought to think further than having a laugh in their powerful cars at the expense of hundreds of other road users. Completely ignoring the risk to normal people in the videos, yes it's humorous and exciting but life's a little more deep than that.

Jesus christ Che. Talk about way to trash a thread.

Did it occur to you that people can get away with this sort of stuff in Italy and pretty much anywhere else on the continent because they are much more laid back than us? It has _nothing_ to do with the countries being poor. Nothing. Not that Italy is poor in any case...

I made one simple comment about it being slightly questionable to follow an ambulance through heavy traffic and now everyone's on my back?

I wonder what the response would be if I recorded a video of me hammering through my village at about 3.30pm on a weekday would be...oh and a little pre-emptive here, Team Polizei aren't professional drivers and even if they were it hardly excuses it.

Haha they are amusing but it is somewhat immoral to simply disregard a country's laws so badly just because they're poorer than us :\

eh ?

why is it that they are speeding because they are in a poorer country ? they're speeding because they are in a race. They speed the entire gumball, through every country

it has nothing to do with singling out one country because they are poor. If you simply posted that you thought it was immoral to speed, we would just have laughed at you and told you to get a life

you got flamed because you got this idea they were only speeding because they are croatian

incidently, how on earth do these guys make it through the gumball ? i know its illegal in the UK to have blue lights at the front, let alone have police flashing lights and sirens.

and i saw an old ford z car get pulled by gendarmes in france cos it was marked as a police car, even though it no longer had the strobing headlights, sirens lights etc..

how do they survive without getting pulled ?
