I'm still playing catchup with some of the early releases for the 360, last game I played (and thoroughly enjoyed was Tomb Raider).

So now I am playing GUN on the 360, it is pretty good. I had it on rental about a year ago and got a fair way through the game before sending it back. Well I think it was mostly my brother that got a fair way through.

So I have started from the beginning again and I am well and truely stuck on the mission called "defend the hideout".

You get given a sniper rifle and told to protect a guy on the gatling gun under the bridge that you are standing on.

He seems to get killed very quickly, long before I can snipe off the bad guys. Anyone got some hints or tips for me? I couldn't find a guide on the net that really dealt with this section that did not require some sort of financial reimbursement from me.

All in though - what a fun game!

I'm playing through this at the moment.

Really good fun, I think. I'd certainly recommend it for anyone after a cheap, decent game for the 360. Decent amount of acheivements to unlock, too.

Did this mission a couple of days ago, took me a few tries. I just plonked myself on the bridge and shot the people as quickly as possible. Best technique, I find, is to zoom in, shoot someone, then zoom back out to roughly target someone else before zooming back in and shooting them. If people get too close then you can use the quickdraw mode.

I really enjoyed gun. Didnt want to play it through on the hardest level though but was a fun game once.

Noticed you were playing this, till quite late I might add. Not fancy getting hold of GRAW2 for some multiplayer goodness?
