I've not read the whole thread, but I agree with you on the staged part

Staged by whom? Trump? As if he's going to let someone fire real bullets at his head. And as if the secret service are going to let somebody shoot bullets towards a crowd of people.

And who would agree to be the shooter? It's a death sentence.
 
Am I the only one thinking no wonder this has happened? The way he conducts himself and his politics.

Such a shame for the bystander but also a shame that he’ll probably have an even bigger stage and possibility of re-election.

They’ll double down on the guns laws too, everyone at the rally should’ve been armed.

More like the rabid insanity of those with TDS that make constant comparasons with various dictators around the word and throughout time, the hysterics of telling everyone that'll listen that WW3 would happen if he got in. That the country would sink into civil war/chaos if he was president.

It's those people that need to look at themselves.

My thoughts

* Most of the world will be sad that trump survived so will half of Americans

* Trumps brought this on himself- did he really think if he introduces radical policitics into American society that only his supporters would become radical? No there is radicals all over now and this is the result - this is 100% Trumps fault

* It's time to ban guns coward politicians

* The secret service majorly ****** up. They had snipers and yet they missed a shooter on a roof, and the shooter wasn't a trainer sniper - just a dumb 20 year old using an semi auto assault rifle with a scope on it - Trump survived because the shooter had the wrong tools for the job

There's footage of some bystanders from a good 10 seconds before he shoots, shouting 'he has a gun' and trying to get the attention of the cops.

Had those bystanders had guns rather than just their waving hands and voices, maybe they could have stopped it.
 
I’ve just seen it again on the news, honestly it feels staged to me, or something strange.

The Secret Service took ages to get to him, then they hug him for ages on stage and let him ‘pump his fist’ instead of dragging him off stage? It just seemed really weird.

As terrible as such a thing to happen is to anyone, it wasn't unreasonable given the crap trump does and says and in that moment it was a thought that crossed the minds of many ESPECIALLY given how odd the whole situation panned out and looked on camera. Obviously more info quickly came to light but that doesn't stop thought processes from still happening given what the guy hasbeen like all this time.

Your finger pointing paints a wider picture of you though for attempting to ridicule people for an initial thought, thanks for highlighting that to the forums.
