just bought a 250gb 16mb cache wd sata drive which i thought was ide, never really had a sata drive before n never even considered that it would be a different connector

well gutted




10gb is doing ma nut in

well you can either get a SATA control card to slot into your motherboard or send/take the drive back (probably losing a bit of money in the process) and exchange it for the right type

Aye if it isn't opened/used should be very easy to return it, if you do it within 7 days

You'll lose the postage costs though.
