Guys - What fragrance/aftershave/whatever do you wear?

I've just treated myself to a bottle of Terre d'hermes, pure perfume. It's exactly what I was looking for and I highly recommend anyone try it if they haven't and are looking for something "older" (I think it's an old scent anyway - 1990 or some time around there). Classic, masculine and long lasting. I'm sure it will be one of my go to fragrances along with VR Spice bomb and Chanel allure

I use it as well, really like it.

Use the following too:

Carolina Herrera 212
One Million (very rarely but my girlfriend likes it)

Everyday:

Old Spice
Brut

Aqua is a fine aftershave but whatever you do , DO NOT WEAR IT IN A JUNGLE.

Seriously. We were in Costa Rica a few years ago and spent a couple of nights on a retreat in the jungle.

We'd had a busy day so I had a shave to try and and wake up (wet - cold water) Splashed on some Aqua di Gio as usual. Felt good to go again.

A bit later on we were at the bar (well actually more like an open air shack with a couple of stools) and I was literally swarmed with mossies trying to get a piece of my face.

They bloody loved it!

Never again.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but go on amazon or wherever and buy the multi pack of samples. They last for ever, you can get a really good feel/sense of what you like and works well on you.
Currently really liking a Prada one....can't remember the name :)

Had another bottle of creed aventus delivered today, it's the best aftershave I've ever smelt and it's absolutely worth the price tag.

I take back what I said 2 years ago.

I tried the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino stuff in the airport yesterday. That stuff was really very nice, and a unique smell. No price tag though so I didn't entertain it :D

I think I may have a problem..

Guys, what recommendations on a high quality female perfume? I asked the GF what she would like next time I fly out this month and she said "surprise me". That's a trap though, because when it comes to things like decisions on food/visiting places/watching movies my suggestions often come back with "hmmm, no I don't like/fancy that" (Usual infuriating female trait).

She like Vera Wang and Paul Smith Rose, but I don't see then as "special" enough, they're her everyday choices. She clearly likes flowery scents over sweet/girly scents. What do your ladies like? Need inspiration when I'm sniffing the testers :p

Floral Amber, try this

Hyacinth and orange blossom, try this

Huge jasmine, try this

Floral musk with a bit of sweetness, try this

Serious musk, rose and patchouli , sample first! Try this

If you can, with perfume, always sample them first, get familiar with hers and pop into the shop and have a smell. As the links suggest you'll find them all in HoF, a fair few will be in Debenhams. I recommend you look at these in particular they are big crowd pleasers in the floral spectrum and generally always well received and thought of as premium.
