Shame about the way they published the team scores at the end with the various placings, without actually incorporating the US team first.
The Japanese thought they had made bronze until their coach corrected them.
Then the chinese girl who fluffed the floor and fell out thought they had managed the silver they should have taken, and cheered up for a second, before the team quickly went back to ignoring her when they realised the US had not been posted yet.

Anyway, reasonable contest with a runnaway winner.
 
What annoyed me about the Gymnastics was the lack of scores being shown on screen for both the individual scores and the teams scores. It was much more annoying in the Women's finals than the mens.

Yep, we got guaranteed Bronze after waiting only 108 years in this event. It could still change to silver. Good job :)
 
I must admit, I had no idea Whitlock was a contender in this event. I knew he was world champion at pommel horse but being good enough at all 6 apparatus to mix it with the big boys in this is something else. :)
 
The lass is completely made up with that, in her excitement coming out to the podium she was giving everyone a wave behind the and flattened the gold winner haha.
