I've had a look in the shop here but I can find no harddrive mountings for for silent useage anywhere. Do ocuk still sell them?

How strange - they all seem to have disappeared - I'm sure they used to do the old Silenmaxx enclosures which were awesome, as well as the old anti-vibration mounts - that Zalman will reduce some of the noise, but not as much as the full enclosures!

Bungee cord is a good alternative to the rubber mounts, it only works when you use 5 1/4" bays though.
Take a look at the bottom pic here. Basically you put a loop of cord at either end of the disk, cross it over at either side and push the drive through.
