hia so ive got a h100 from MM but the pump makes a very distracting noise when functioning.

ive heard it happens to a samll amount of h100's and its related to the 12v supply rail.

waht are my options ?

I bought a refurb H100 from a competitor and there is no noise from the pump, It is absolutely quiet.
I can't barely hear the pump, I need to put my ear near the pump to hear it. I think the refurb units is a better buy than a new one as the pump noise has already been fix it is also cheaper, got mine for £59.99 inc. shipping.
I have read that you can try fixing the pump noise by lowering the voltage applied to the pump by using a resistor or a diode in series to the +12V line, lots of thread out there about the pump noise .

Different PSU - not guaranteed, but might help if the 12v rail is closer to the mark than your current one.

Or, as AtaRo says, 'wlw wl' over on that site makes a voltage 'dropper' which as the name implies tries to bring the 12v rail down to within the tolerance of the Corsair cooler.

You can get diodes cheaply on eBay. A little soldering and the voltage will be be dropped by 0.7v per diode in series.

I had the same problem with my H60, I connected the pump to my fan controller and turned the notch to 80-90% and the rattling noise is gone whilst temps remain decent

Try plugging the pump into a separate motherboard header rather than daisy chaining. See if that stops it.
