So Im near enough to installing my H100i (Prob near the weekend) and would like to ask a few of questions i was hoping you could help me with please?

1.) On the bit that attaches to the CPU, there is a square grey patch. It doesn't feel like TIM because I've applied TIM before. Do i need to peel this grey stuff off? Is it like a sticker? I couldn't see a peel point hence the question.

2.) I have been informed that the screws of the H100i are 0.3mm longer than they should be. Meaning that, as they're screwed down, 0.3mm of the screw will dig in to the radiator fins. People have unscrewed and realized this is the case. I really want to avoid this so what options do I have? Will the local B&Q stock the same screw or should I take a Dremel to it? Would it be easy to use the Dremel? (I have one, never used it!)

1. That is TIM, decent stuff too. Leave it on :).
2. Doesn't cause any problems, only cosmetic damage that can't be seen unless you remove it. Not sure about replacement screws or using a dremel to shorten them.

1. Grey and in a square, it's TIM and decent stuff too.

2. Screws are a certain length because of varying thicknesses in the construction of the case. Even if the screw touches or slightly bends the fins it'll make no difference to the operation of the unit and the mount points are placed so that you can't damage the water channels.

If you're really worried about it rather than buying/dremelling the screws just get some rubber washers.
